Welcome to Jacob’s Journey

Jacob’s Journey is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the young adult community. We work with all young adults, ages 18-25, including those who feel alone, overwhelmed, or unsure of their direction in life.

Jacob’s Journey was born from both love and loss.

It is inspired by my son, Jacob McCoy.

Jacob was a bright, kind, and deeply caring young man who struggled silently with undiagnosed depression, food addiction, and isolation. Like many young adults, he found himself stuck in cycles of shame and struggled without the support system he needed.

Jacob passed away on January 1, 2022, just 15 days before his 25th birthday.

Join us in mentoring, leading events, or supporting our outreach programs.

Sharing

Spread our mission with friends, family, and your community to help us reach more young adults.

Praying

We know that it is not Jacob’s Journey that changes lives, but the power of God Almighty! Prayer is our most powerful tool!

Our Mission

Jacob’s Journey exists to help young adults build connection, confidence, and direction through community, mentorship, coaching, and personal growth.

We believe no young adult should have to face life alone.

We also support parents who are looking for help for their young adult children.

You Are Not Alone

If you are a young adult searching for support—or someone who loves one—Jacob’s Journey is here for you.
